Belle of the Fall, Brian Dolzani – Folk Fridays Concert Series
February 7, 2020 @ 7:30 pm
Belle of the Fall, Brian Dolzani
Belle of the Fall is Tracy Walton and Julia Autumn Ford, and indie folk rock pop alternative Americana duo from Northwest CT.
Belle of the Fall met when Tracy produced Julia’s debut solo album in 2014 at his studio; On Deck Sound Studio. They spent the better part of the next year touring together as solo artists. Eventually they began to play on each others sets and sing harmonies together. In July of 2015 after wrestling with the idea of remaining separate solo artists or committing to a duo they merged forces and became Belle of the Fall. In April 2016, Belle of the Fall released their debut album; “Earthbound.” 27 states, a tour of Canada and 250 gigs later, they came off of the road to record their followup album, “Rise Up.” The album reached #4 on the Roots Music Report, #25 on the Folk DJ Charts and was nominated Best Album in the New England Music Awards. Currently they are working on their third album.
Brian Dolzani is an American troubadour in the truest sense of the term – traveling the country singing his deeply personal blues, hopes, and stories. No Depression magazine calls Brian’s music ‘remarkably affecting’ and Lonesome Noise blog says his music is ‘medicine for the soul’. Brian’s most recent albums, 2012’s ‘If I Don’t Speak A Word…’ and 2015’s ‘A Place That I Can Feel’, have put him on the radar of Americana passionates. He has since traveled the country many times, sharing the stage with James McCartney, Bill Payne, The Black Lillies, Freedy Johnson, Cory Chisel, The Subdudes, and many others.
