Connecticut Folk Wants You!

Connecticut Folk welcomes volunteers to help with all aspects of our events during the year as well as the annual Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo. Meet friendly, like-minded people while learning how the events operate — and make a tangible difference.

Become a Connecticut Folk VOLUNTEER!

What does a volunteer do?

Our volunteers do a multitude of tasks that make Connecticut Folk events run smoothly and ensure a great experience for all who come.  Volunteers help set up and tear down, greet people and check-in ticket holders, usher, provide hospitality for the performers, manage parking and directing people, work with the stage crew, work the information booth and merchandise tables selling t-shirts and CDs, provide safety and security, and much more.

What do volunteers get in return for their time?

During the year, if you work at a ticketed event you get in free to that event. If you volunteer at the Festival & Green Expo, you get a t-shirt, too!

Volunteers  get a behind-the-scenes experience and get to meet a community of other like-minded individuals, where friendships and memories are made and remembered for a lifetime.
