Join the CT Folk community! There are many ways to support the CT Folk Festival and Green Expo: sponsor the festival, make a donation, or give your time by becoming a volunteer.
Send a student to the Festival!
For just $20, you can make a big difference to one person -- the difference between a student going to the 2010 CT Folk Festival or not going. If you would like to send a student (or more than one!) to the Festival, please click the button below. Your donation is fully tax-deductible and much appreciated. Keep the music going for the new generation!CT Folk is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Sponsorships
One planet, many choices. It's back to basics for many consumers, and we share with many businesses a vested interest in promoting clean/green innovation, design, and services.
CT Folk invites you to partner with us for the 2010 Connecticut Folk Festival and Green Expo on September 10, 11, 12.
What are the benefits of partnership?
- Opportunities to showcase your business or organization to a broad audience with an interest in eco-friendly products and services
- Cost-effective advertising to a qualified and targeted audience
- Personalized connections with people who are interested in making a positive difference in their lives and communities
Who can be a sponsor?
Sponsors include companies whose products and operations have significantly reduced environmental impact and move in the direction of long-term sustainability. Companies with a specific product line or service with significantly reduced environmental impacts are also eligible, as long as the sponsorship features the specific product or service. Government or nonprofit organizations whose objectives are consistent with those of CT Folk are also invited to be sponsors.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of the Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo or the First Fridays Concert Series, please see our sponsorship and contract pages, or contact us.

Volunteer
No one knows how to have more fun than the CT Folk family. Volunteering for CT Folk events comes with tickets to performances, access to artists and green-focused organizations, and the chance to work with a group of truly remarkable people.
Like to roll up your sleeves and dig in? Come help set up and break down events. Want to spread the word? Help out with publicity and promotion. Enjoy talking to people? You can handle tickets, sell concessions, or engage vendors. There?s something for every set of skills and interests.
We are always happy for volunteers to help with our events: the Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo, the First Fridays concert series, and other events throughout the year. Meet friendly, like-minded people while learning how a festival operates and make a tangible difference.
If you're interested in becoming a CT Folk volunteer, please e-mail our volunteer coordinator, Carole Weisberg. We?re grateful for your support!
