The 2014 Connecticut Folk Festival
Was held on Saturday, September 6th in New Haven’s Edgerton Park and featured
GREAT MUSIC, ALL DAY!
PLUS the annual Grassy Hill Songwriting Competition. The 2014 winner was Paddy Mills. The other finalists were Phil Henry, Jacob Latham, Elaine Romanelli and Dan Weber. Click here for more information.
NEW THIS YEAR: Contra Dance with Bill Fischer and Wry Bred. The dance was held at the Eli Whitney Barn.

The Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo is a full-day celebration held each year in New Haven’s beautiful Edgerton Park on the Saturday following Labor Day. The event includes music from across the region, delicious food and unique vendors, as well as fun and interesting experiences for kids in the Green Kids Activities area.
The Festival/Expo is dedicated to creating an unforgettable festival experience with an emphasis on sustainability and earth-friendly practices — including a zero waste plan and water fill stations.We take great pride in producing the highest quality musical experiences and presenting innovative environmental resources, as well as sharing one of the most beautiful places in the city, Edgerton Park.
