She also serves as the Producer for the Soupstock Music and Arts Festival and is the founder and owner of Bring the Hoopla, an educational (hula) hoop company that brings the FUN back into fitness!
Please email any suggestions or comments regarding the 2016 Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo to Nicole. She looks forward to hearing from you.
The 2016 Rock to Rock Bike Ride, New Haven’s largest Earth Day celebration, will be held on Saturday, April 30th. Participants will ride their bikes across the city, raising funds for environmental causes, getting exercise and having fun!
Importantly, Rock to Rock raises money each year for several environmental organizations in the New Haven area. This year CT Folk, one of those organizations, will use all funds raised in support of our riding team to help defray the costs of the 2016 Connecticut Folk Festival & Green Expo.
We invite you to join the CT Folk riding team!
Enter the 2016 Grassy Hill Song Competition
Five finalists will perform two of their submitted songs at the 2016 Connecticut Folk Festival on September 10th in New Haven. The winner will receive $150, will perform a short set on the Festival Main Stage later that day, and will be awarded a slot in the 2017 Festival lineup. The deadline for entering the competition is April 15th.
